The intention was to go for a nice picnic at a pretty place. It would have been easier to have it near the car park. The estate is very pretty but there isn’t many places you can have a picnic. The land is rather slopey, the paths are narrow and there were many trees.
As it was very much a woodlands area, after lunch we had to run back for the toilets and it got too hot so we decided to go back home.
