Hubby picked this place because he heard it was quite popular for breakfast. The place opened at 09:00, we got there around 09:30 and there was a queue forming. It is a nice cosy restaurant where we had the option of sitting inside or out.
What I had-
Drunken Sailor which is homemade waffles, two poached eggs, house-cured salmon and psycho sauce. The eggs were perfectly runny, the salmon was light in flavour not salty as you would have with normal smoked salmon. I loved that it was served with waffle and the psycho sauce has a nice kick. T
Family had-
Eggs Benedict with two poached eggs with bacon on an English muffin, topped with hollandaise sauce. We actually asked for the the to be a little more well done, the waiter serving us explain that it is served runny, we explained why and he accommodated by serving soft poached eggs.
Blissful Berries: Strawberries, banana and buckwheat smoothie bowl topped with bananas chia seed and crushed pistachio. This was for my daughter, the bowl was quite large for her and she wasn’t able to finish.
