We had our heart set on a different restaurant but they were booked out on the day we went, we spotted a cute little restaurant and we were so glad we tried it
What did we have
Crunchy Duck and Lychee Bites: Crispy discs of toasted rice topped with succulent duck, star fruit and sweet lychee. We thoroughly enjoyed the burst of flavours and texture from this small appetiser.
Delicious Thai Chicken Wings: chicken wings seasoned with garlic, fresh coriander, black pepper and a little chilli.
Chubby Cheek Pork: they soaked the cheeks in ginger root, black pepper and palm sugar then slow-cooked. The pork cheek was sweet, tender perfection, definitely a family favourite
Chicken Pad Thai, looks very pretty and portion was generous. The stir fried rice noodles were cooked in a light tart sauce.
Heavenly Squid: pieces of squid but we did see any coconut tips.
Sticky Chicken: it has a light crispy batter coated around the chicken cooked in a sweet, tangy sticky sauce. I like this, nice and lightly fried to add a bit of texture and the sauce is fuse with a mild sweetness and a hint of tang.
