My friend recommended this restaurant and we were very excited to go and try it. Located at a very convenient location she also confirmed that it was family friendly. They had a children’s menu but we decided to let BB try’s bit of everything.
What did we have:
Nachos, corn chips covered with melted cheese and jalapeno and pimiento. This was not what I was expecting, there was a lot of melted cheese with a sprinkle of jalapeño and pimiento peppers. I found it extremely heavy, I think I am probably too accustom to what they serve at the pub.
Quesadillas two grilled flour tortillas filled with smoked chicken. I really liked this, chicken was smoky and there was a little cheese in between the tortillas, served with a tomato based sauce
Duck Tacos in Mole Rub with rocket Blackberry Salad, topped with Goats Cheese and avocado slices and a drizzle of balsamic glaze, served with sweet potato fries. I am not sure about this one, there are too many strong flavours fighting each other.
Twice Cooked Pulled Pork Chilli Tacos and it had red cabbage jicama slaw, topped with coriander and onions with a drizzle of brown sugar chipotle glaze. served with black beans and mexican rice. Loved this, sweet and smoky flavours made a lovely combination, the meat was tender. Thumbs up from the family
