This is a lovely, friendly Turkish restaurant with fantastic food.
Calamari: Was fried and served with sauce. It was lightly crisp and the squid was tender served with tartar sauce.
Cigar Borek: is filo pastry wrapped like a long spring roll and filled with feta cheese and parsley. This was served with a sweet chilli sauce, I don’t think you really need it, you can already feel a mild kick from the mix soft creamy filling.
Family Platter: there was a mix of chicken beyti, lamb shish, chicken shish, lamb ribs, Adana kofte, chicken on the bone and chicken wings. Served with rice, salad and bread. We didn’t know what everything was but we were wowed by the portion size, for meal to be shared between 3-4 people we thought it was very generous. The rice was lovely and very flavourful absorbing the juices from the meat. We were glad to see a very generous bowl of fresh salad to accompany the meat. I loved how juicy the meat is and not over seasoned with spices and herbs.
