It was cold, we were tired and the kids were hungry. We decided to go for a chain because thought most are baby friendly. We wanted to be simple, so we decided to share a starter and have a main each.
We ordered the Fritto Misto it included lightly battered calamari, plaice goujons, prawn, zucchini and other vegetables, served with chopped red chillies, parsley & a lemon & rosemary aioli. Some pieces were better than others, the vegetable felt a bit soggy and greasy but the rest was ok. I thought there would be more crunch byt there wasn’t
My Penne Della Casa is a oven baked penne, roasted chicken, pancetta, baby spinach & riserva cheese in a creamy mushroom sauce. Nice and heart for such a cold day, it definitely it the spot
