The Ned

Normally I don’t do buffets but my sister and friend were excited so I thought why not. I loved the decor, and how they kept some aspects of the bank, we were mesmerised by the vault and safety deposit box area in the members area. There was a very large seating area at the Nickle Bar and at the centre was a raised circular stage where the band performed. It was quite loud, we would have preferred to be seated further away but when we asked we would have been in a different room to the buffet which we didn’t think was ideal.

What did I have…

Ned’s Sunday Feast which consist of “brunch dishes, seafood like lobster & oysters, salads, roasts with all the trimmings and to finish off there were sweets, desserts and a selection of cheese”.  The buffet is available on Sundays between 12.00 noon to 18.00, each seating is given a two hour slot.  Ned’s Sunday Feast gave us unlimited access to food with no cap, a glass of prosecco and any additional drinks are charged separately.  We thoroughly enjoyed the seafood and Sunday roast, unfortunately my Yorkshire pudding was extremely well done but the rest of the food was good.  I really enjoyed the apple crumble one of my favourite amongst the dessert selection.
